omeprazole對Clopidogrel有明顯藥物交互作用，臨床上必須控制胃酸時，建議改用pantoprazole或是H2 抑制劑如cimetidine,rannitidine,famotidine等。 交互作用的起源是omeprazole抑制了Clopidogrel的代謝(變成活性物)而使Clopidogrel的藥效降低。 由於服用Clopidogrel的人相當多，omeprazole又是OTC藥，普遍可買到服用，產生的不良反應又是可能致命，不可不注意這個交互作用，在此特加補充，以免被omeprazole 傳奇一文所誤導。請服用Clopidogrel的人以及醫生藥師特別注意一下。
